November 23: The community members of Assisi Shanthi Kendra together with the membres of SFO, MI and Franciscan Youth went for a pilgrimage to Bharananganam at the tomb of St. Alphonsa, the first Indian Saint. There were around 150 in the group. It was a blissful occasion to all to witness our faith. We had the Eucharistic celebration at the tomb of St. Alphonsa, in which Fr. Leo Payyappilly was the main celebrant and Fr. John Pozhathuparambil delivered an inspiring homily. On the way we visited also some other pilgrim centres like Ramapuram, Kudamaloor and Kuravilangadu.
