| Greyfriars Publication is an activity of the Franciscan Order of Friars Minor Conventual, India, to promote the spirituality of St. Francis Assisi and his message of universal brotherhood, peace, justice, safeguarding Creation and defense of human life through mass media. It was established on16th March 1993. It functions at the Provincialate at this address: Assisi Shanthi Kendra, Karukutty- 683 576. Fr. John Pozhathuparambil is the present Director of Greyfriars Publications. Greyfriars publications board consists of Rev. Fr. Mathew Purayidom, Minister Provincial, Fr. Leo Payyappilly, Definitor in charge of the publication, Fr. John Pozhathuparambil, Director, Fr. Paul Pothanattuveliyil, Administrator,Friar Tony Vattaparambil, Secretary, Fr. | Amalolbahva |

 Amalolbhava, a Marian Franciscan bimonthly in Malayalam, is one of the main media through which the Publication promotes its ideals. Media has a powerful role in the society to bring people to Christ and to the ideals of St. Francis and this has been worked out by the publishing of Amalolbhava. It was in November 5, 1984 that the first copy of Amalolbhava was printed at Viany Printings, Ernakulam the same press where St. Maximilian Kolbe desired to print his Knight of Immaculate when he was at Ernakulam in 1932. It deals with current issues, regular columns on Bible, and themes on Franciscanism and Mariology. The present editor is Fr. John Pozhathuparambil. The subscription rate is Rs. 100/- for three years. |
